IEEE - Atlanta
IEEE's Atlanta Section encompasses the northern 1/3 of Georgia and boasts more than 4,000 members. The Atlanta Section was formed on January 19, 1904. The Section encompasses the northern 1/3 of the state of Georgia. It consists of 12 technical society chapters and 3 affinity groups. As of 25 February, 2011, the Atlanta Section had 4,984 active members.
