Our Core Curriculum consists of:
- Recruitment
- Orientation (including drug awareness)
- Industry Awareness
- Basic math for tradesmen / blueprint reading
- Tools and materials
- First aid / CPR
- OSHA 10hr certification training
- Job readiness (dress code, interview skills, exam prep)
- Site visits

We are so excited for our Trade Up trainees as they near the end of their program journey. Last week, participants had the opportunity to earn certifications in OSHA 30 and Lead-Based Paint Abatement — gaining critical skills that prepare them for careers in construction, environmental safety, and the workforce of today and tomorrow.
Each certification represents hard work, commitment, and a step toward economic opportunity and long-term success. We are proud of every trainee for showing up, putting in the work, and continuing to TRADE UP toward a brighter future.

We’re celebrating Earth Day the right way 🌍🌱
Today, Georgia STAND-UP and Trade Up is at the Metro Atlanta Urban Farm with Bobby Wilson, where our Trade Up trainees are putting in real work—helping prepare the farm for 200 volunteers who will be serving the community.
