Do you have a favorite shirt? I have this button down that I like. It looks sharp and fits well. Correction, it fit nicely at one point, and now I fill it out more than I did in times past to the point the buttons are struggling to keep it together. I am sure I am the only one with a shirt like this! Maybe it shrunk in the dryer!
This is where the housing market continues to be. Parts of it look nice with increased month's supply, but swelling interest rates, bloated home values, and the inventory on the market barely holding on, something's got to give!
Properties in the $300โs (give or take) continually to typically be multi-offer situations. Properties in the $500โs+ continue to sit longer and drop asking price.
Property values have continued in an upward trend the past eight years, but this summer we are seeing them slow and even decrease in some cases. One way or another, the housing market is going to have to consume less and walk more, and while we are not there yet, I do believe a shift will slowly take place end of this year and into next.

We are not seeing the "crash" the experts were predicting. We are continuing to see a shift from Seller's market to Buyer's market, but we are currently in an awkward pr***en phase of this market shift. Houses are on the market longer, some having to drop asking prices, but homes are selling.
