In case you haven’t heard, there is a new convention starting up in Atlanta called Stellar Fest! It’s a fan-run science fiction convention that’s happening April 4-6, 2025. There are dedicated tracks to Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Star Wars, plus there will be two OtherWorlds tracks! There will be lots of programming, fun activities, performers, and a great dealer room! We're almost done interviewing the past guests who were on our wishlist, and we'll be focusing on staff interviews over the coming month. Last weekend we were at CONjuration and filmed some new interviews for our documentary! The first was with longtime TimeGate/WHOlanta attendee Anita Thomaston talking about meeting Mary Tamm and the friendship that they formed; the second was CONjuration and Stellar Fest organizers Chris and Angela Seckinger telling us about some of their favorite moments from our con. As you may have seen, we’ve announced a brand new documentary, UNCONVENTIONAL: The TimeGate / WHOlanta Story, which we plan to release May 2025 (to coincide with the convention’s 20th Anniversary). We’ve also launched a crowdfunder to help us with the costs of making this film. Please consider donating! Our plans for the film are to have a teaser out likely in March of 2025, followed by a full trailer in April. The premiere screening will be held in Atlanta in May (date and location TBA). After that, we hope to make the film available on a streaming service so that everyone can see it.
