Today is Katie's birthday, and we are so excited to celebrate her! Katie is an Atlanta native and has worked with students here for years, but during her college years at Wake, she worked for a fashion magazine in London and described her experience as being very similar to the movie The Devil Wears Prada!

Perhaps that trying time helped further develop her calm and patient demeanor, which she is known for at BBTS! She loves making her students feel comfortable and confident to achieve their very best, whether helping them with test preparation, English, or college essays.

She is also an incredible mom to her beautiful daughter and precious pup, and she somehow still finds time to bake delicious goodies for the team.

Katie, happiest of birthdays to you! We treasure you and hope you enjoy your special day!

Here are my two main rules for taking the SAT or ACT: plan on taking your better test at least three times to maximize scores and, if possible, complete all testing by the end of the junior year. In fact, rising juniors who have already taken at least Algebra 2 can start testing the summer after their sophomore year!
