Art as Refuge:Today’s workshop brought together an inspiring group of women for an evening of mindfulness and creativity and calm. ☺️

We transformed ordinary plastic bottles into beautiful, feather-light pieces of jewelry—turning what’s often discarded into something worth treasuring.

The room buzzed with quiet focus and bursts of laughter as each participant shaped, colored, and assembled their own one-of-a-kind earrings and pendants. It was more than an art class; it was a moment to pause, connect, and discover the joy of making.

Turn everyday plastic into one-of-a-kind wearable art
Discover how to transform ordinary plastic bottles and containers into striking, feather-light earrings and statement pieces. In this 45 to 60 minute hands-on class, you’ll learn:

How to cut, shape, and safely heat-form plastic into elegant petals and geometric forms
Techniques for adding color, texture, and shine using simple, low-cost materials

Assembly tips for durable, professional-looking jewelry
No experience needed—just your curiosity and a desire to create sustainably. You’ll leave with at least one finished pair of earrings and the know-how to keep crafting at home.
