Meet the Team: Robin Canada
Our Director of Human Resources, Robin Canada, is the strategic and empathetic force driving our people operations forward. From talent acquisition and employee relations to navigating complex labor compliance, her steady leadership ensures our crew is supported, engaged, and empowered. We sat down with her for a quick Q&A.
Q. What advice would you give someone just starting their career in your field?
A. It’s Not Personal! Emotions can get very high and everyone needs to remember that this is business, not personal. People need to remain professional and remember that concerns are not about them. Always remember to talk it out in a calm and respectful manner.
Q. What first made you want to work in the events industry?
A. I fell into this job coming from hotels. The similarities between the fields are many. Hospitality and customer service are critical. I love it!
Q. What’s the most important skill for someone in your position to master?
A. Communication!
