I am a wife and mother of two, residing in the Metro Atlanta Area. I value family, generational joy, the pursuit of peace, and a good laugh. I became a Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator, and Lactation Counselor after the birth of my son in 2019. I experienced bias and birth trauma. I respect a families rights to birth equity. I want to prevent birth trauma from happening to all growing families of the diaspora. Righteous anger was the spark that lit the flame of my advocacy work.
