Have you ever made PINE SODA from scratch?

Not with club soda.
Not with sparkling water added in later.

I mean real PINE SODA… made with pine needles, honey, water, and time, allowing the natural fermentation process to create its own carbonation.

That slow transformation.
That living process.
That connection between nature, science, and intention.

Honestly… this would be a beautiful addition to my lineup.

But sorry to say… this is NOT one of the products coming next to Seasoned With Intention

You’ll have to stay tuned to see what’s coming.

In the meantime, here’s a traditional pine soda recipe made with honey and natural fermentation, rooted in patience, process, and the land itself.

Pine Needle Honey Soda (2–4 Servings)

Ingredients

* 1 packed cup fresh young pine needles
* 2 cups filtered water
* 2½ tbsp raw honey
* Juice of ½ lemon
* Small slice fresh ginger

Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1:

* Rinse pine needles well with filter water and vinegar
* Chop or bruise lightly with your hands or knife

This helps release the oils and flavor.

Step 2:

Add to mason jar:

* pine needles
* honey
* filtered water

Stir or shake until honey mostly dissolves.

Step 3:

* Cover with paper towel or cheesecloth

Let sit:

* on the counter
* indirect sunlight only
* about 2–3 days

Today is your day, Mamie Lee, a day I will never forget.

It’s funny how today, of all days, I’m doing something you taught me as a little girl, gardening. I’m starting to understand now how our ancestors guide us. I believe your ancestors guided you to learn, and you passed that wisdom down to me. And now, you’re still leading me from above, helping me grow, learn, and flourish as I continue becoming HER.

Thank you for being my light, my guide, and my foundation.

On this day, I honor you.
Happy Birthday, Queen.

Honored to be featured in a nationwide article with Black Health Matters speaking on something that doesn’t get talked about enough, living with Crohn’s disease in our community.

Food is more than nourishment for us. It’s culture, family, memories, and identity. So when your body starts rejecting what you grew up on, it’s not just physical, it’s emotional.

My goal is always to help people find “YOUR Version of Healthy “ without disconnecting from who they are. You don’t have to abandon your culture to heal, you just have to learn how to prepare it with intention.

Healing is not restriction, it’s alignment.
