Ready-Set-Move Forward...No Pills, No Potions, No BS...Just Simple and Clean Fueling and Fasting over a 12-week period!

Let me make one thing absolutely clear...if I am hungry and it is real hunger, I will eat...If I am not hungry, I will not eat...Fasting is a tool, a resource, and a clock will not define my overall objectivity or subjectivity!!!

Started June 1 and I am down 3 pounds...the last 2 weeks were a trial run of testing out what fasting window and nutrition worked best with my body...I feel like I do best with a daily 19/5 window and it should be 10am to 3pm.

After paying for a new app (DoFasting) and piddling around with the possibilities for the first 2 weeks, I knew I needed to buckle-up-buttercup and commit to what I will eat, and more importantly, how I will be (mindset) when I am meeting/not meeting process goal efforts toward my 12-week outcome goal.

So for personal accountability, I am posting my intentions publically since I currently do not have a dedicated support system...I firmly believe a strong network of like-minded individuals is the key to success!

12-Week Outcome Goal:

June 1 - August 31, 2022
Lose 18 lbs (average 1.5 lbs each week)

Weekly Process Goals:
Areas of Focus are Mindset, Movement, and Nutrition

Mindset
My Focus will be to reflect daily on my entire day's efforts each evening while fasting dinner with a cup of plain green tea to encourage myself that I will not die from missing a traditional dinner and that my health is worth it!

Movement:
30 concentrated minutes daily of any kind of thoughtful movement! I will break this movement into 10-minute increments.

Nutrition:
My focus will be centered on eating:
Nutritionally Dense
Gluten-Free
Whole Foods
I will include a few very select provisional items for convenience.

I will consciously focus on creating fresh meals consisting of any combination of:
Protein
Leafy Greens
Veggies
Berries
Healthy Fats

If I were to count Macros, my daily total for 1-2 meals would consist of keeping:
Carbs between 10-20 total carbs
Protein between 35-70 grams
Fats near 30-60 grams

Progress is perfection and the process is the goal...I am not new to fasting, eating a clean, or weight loss efforts...I just know I want to keep on keeping on this journey to health and I will use any knowledge and any resource I have gained in the past to continue to help me get there!
