Heartbreaking situation in Jefferson County, IL where two people lost their lives on Father’s Day sheltering in a mobile home as an EF-3 tornado ripped through the county with winds of 140 MPH! I’ve provided coverage for WSIL News 3 over the past few months and this hurts my heart to hear. Praying for everyone impacted by this. Illinois has also smashed their annual tornado record of 142 from 2024 with 196 tornadoes already recorded this year. On average, they get 54 tornadoes annually.🌪️
