Drops New Song Giving Details On Recent Incident With
Educational Context:
On April 10, 2026, Gucci Mane released the Zaytoven-produced track “Crash Dummy,” directly addressing the alleged January 10, 2026, armed robbery and kidnapping incident at a Dallas recording studio involving his 1017 Records artist Pooh Shiesty (Lontrell Williams Jr.), Big30, Shiesty’s father, and others. Prosecutors claim the group lured Gucci Mane (referred to as “R.D.” in court docs) and his team to what was supposed to be a business/contract meeting, only for it to turn into a violent “takeover” with an AK-style pistol, forcing a contract release signature under duress and robbing them of jewelry and cash; Shiesty and most co-defendants were arrested in early April, with Shiesty recently denied bond and remaining in federal custody facing serious charges that could carry life sentences.
In the song, Gucci Mane frames the event as a betrayal and failed setup, rapping lines such as: “Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy, you still signed to me / I’m like Birdman and na, this my Cash Money”; “I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set up / I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building / Na dapped me up, the whole time they plotting against me”; “Pen to the paper, but it’s under duress”; and “This 1017 the label, I built this s**t from the ground / And I be damned if I let a n***a take my s**t down,” while also referencing Shiesty’s dad, past support like putting money on his commissary, and a refrain about being betrayed with his heart now turned cold.
The diss track has sparked widespread online reactions, with some praising it as a bold response and others debating Gucci’s cooperation with authorities. The full audio is now streaming on major platforms.

NBA Ben 10 (real name Ben Anthony Fields), a 26-year-old rapper and longtime affiliate of NBA YoungBoy from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was shot in Houston, Texas, on the night of April 8, 2026. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. inside Confessions, a restaurant/nightclub/lounge, where a physical fight escalated when a suspect attempted to rob a chain and fired randomly, striking two men. Ben 10, one of the victims, was hospitalized in very critical condition along with another man in his late 20s; he suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Early rumors of his death circulated on social media but were quickly debunked by close associates, including OG Monique and OG 3Three, who confirmed via Instagram and a FaceTime call that Ben 10 is alive, alert, and able to communicate, though his condition remains serious. Houston Police are investigating the shooting, reviewing video footage, with no arrests reported yet. NBA YoungBoy reacted strongly to the news during a live session, expressing concern for his associate. This remains a developing story.
