“Focus” - still in progress.

I’ve been experimenting with a new approach lately, blending abstraction with realism. I’m pushing contrast, pulling the viewer into the focal point, and letting the rest of the piece breathe through softer brushwork and blurred transitions. Sharp where it matters, expressive everywhere else.

Originally, I planned to add a lot of gold to this one, but honestly, it already feels complete. The simplicity of the black and white seems to carry its own light. What do you think? Keep it raw and monochrome, or bring in a touch of gold?
