When you like it just so…

I think that is the difference between “intentional clutter” and clutter.

My home is filled with many items I have collected and have on display. But every piece has a place. I know where it goes, I can picture it in my mind’s eye before it even leaves a store shelf.

Every thing is displayed with meaning. I love that imperfection is trending, and people no longer desire to have a home filled with store-bought items that look too matchy and too new.

I think my home is a metaphor for the philosophy of timeless over trending.

I would like to be able to share that I’m extremely flexible and shuffle things about my home. And I do in fact, shop my home. But in all honesty, I’m a little bit rigid in that when I achieve a look, I love, I do not tire of it, and have no real desire to swap things out. I attribute this to moving nine times before I turned 17 years old. I find comfort in permanence.

My wish is that you never tire of seeing my home either, and find comfort here.❤️
