To help show the impact we want to have on the outbreak of TB in Atlanta, Georgia, here is our Logic Model we developed.
Notice Tuberculosis is comprised of three main intervention programs that will help us satisfy objectives and goals. First, we have developed a joint HIV/TB intervention program that seeks to prevent and treat both HIV and TB, and provide the much-needed care for individuals with overlap. Next, we need a community-wide education program where people can learn how to prevent infection, recognize the signs and symptoms of TB, and know the resources available to them, such as testing sites. Lastly, we have created an intervention that provides food safety and food security to the communities we serve. One activity within this program is planting public produce that will provide healthy and safe food for unsheltered individuals.
