Fireplace Rehab:
Took an old flagstone fireplace from the 80s and updated it. Framed out for a dimensional effect and to create a frame to attach the shiplap planks. Cleaned and primed the stone with Loxon masonry primer. Then painted the shiplap and stone with Sherwin Williams Pro-classic in a satin sheen.
New mantel is rough-sawn pine with Early American stain and a polyurethane clear coat.

Had to hit pause on it for a little while due to actual paid work, but our kitchen is finished!
