Welcome to The Mecklen. Bold, rebellious, and unmistakably Charlotte.
Rooted in the rebellious history of Mecklenburg County, the design blends modern hospitality with layered storytelling—warm metals, reclaimed wood, tactile materials, and thoughtful details that give the space real personality.
The spirit of Meck, the rebel’s dog, shows up throughout the hotel, adding a sense of play, independence, and approachability. The result is a space designed to feel welcoming, expressive, and easy to settle into—whether guests are passing through or staying awhile.
A project full of character, and one we’re excited to finally share.

Set in West Midtown, this 8,700 SF space captures the spirit of a neighborhood that’s constantly evolving—where industrial roots meet creative energy. Inspired by “Southern Grit,” this 8,700 SF space layers warm textures, bold moments, and just the right amount of edge (because West Midtown wouldn’t have it any other way). Grateful to be part of bringing this vision to life in one of Atlanta’s most dynamic districts.
