We study how children of learn and develop their knowledgebase about the world around them. Under the direction of Dr. Patricia Bauer, we study how children ages 4 years to 18 years develop memory and language skills. Parents and children can schedule online appointments with one of our researchers to participate in one of our research studies. Want to help us discover how children learn science? Here at the Memory at Emory lab at Emory University, we are currently recruiting 5- and 6-year-old children for an online study over Zoom. In the study, we have a parent and child read one book together and then we ask the child some questions about the book and then do some language tasks. The study lasts 45-60 minutes and we provide a $10 Target e-gift card as a thank you for participating. This is a fun and engaging way to help your children begin to learn about research!
