FOTW: Arrival - Directed by Denis Villeneuve (I like his stuff can't you tell) revolves around aliens coming to earth and man's attempt to communicate with them. The film goes beyond just a sci-fi film and is more a drama using the strange circumstances to get at something integral to humanity itself: time. Highly recommended!

Film of the week more like SHOW of the week! Queens Gambit is probably one of the best series on Netflix right now and revolves around a chess master named Beth. The show does really well in expressing the mental pressures and trauma associated with success. Not to mention it also has damn good actors and set design. Give it a watch if you haven't seen it yet!
