I created a series of logos for new digital weather forecasting products in The Weather Company’s Max ecosystem. These products provide accurate, personalized, and actionable weather data & insights to TV broadcasters, so they can keep their audiences safe and engaged. After branding the products, I worked with Hoozens to animate the logos.

Centivox, a media company representing a community of health & science experts, had a logo they loved, but a disconnected brand system around it that they couldn’t edit or utilize. We solidified their brand strategy and built a creative concept inspired by the original logo, and then used that concept to create a full design system, complete with templates and toolkits for Centivox to continue creating within that system.

It’s been far too long since I’ve posted any work updates, but new year, new me, and all that, so I’m starting off with a few recent branding projects.

I created a full brand identity suite and template kit for ABIG, a healthcare consultancy that helps power solutions that result in big changes, big ideas, and big shifts in perception. We focused the brand identity and strategy all around the idea of making A BIG impact on the world of healthcare, and the health of people around the world.

The design system is centered around our branded impact mark, which is flexible in application and connects our different elements, starting from the logo and on out. Our goal was to create a long-lasting design aesthetic, with elements that were easy to utilize and able to grow and evolve over time.

Stay tuned for more work recaps on here from the last year (since it’s been, oh, a year since I’ve posted, yikes!)

I’ve been loving all this branding work coming my way, and learning about my client’s businesses…from book selling, to real estate, to business coaching. It’s pretty much like working at a new place every few weeks, which is exciting and challenging. For Unison Books, I created a design language that plays off of the idea of unison, and different books and genres living in harmony on one website. I also revamped the site design, and created additional collateral for the brand.

When you start a small business, there’s a lot of things you kind of have to figure out as you go. Taxes, project management, how to find clients, and of course your own personal branding. I did a mini brand photoshoot with recently, and as ridiculous as I feel having my photo taken (used to directing shoots, not being the subject of them!) I think they turned out great. I wanted to capture elements that I have around me when I work, including this David Bowie candle. He’s my patron saint of creative inspiration, ever since a very very late night at Creative Circus when a classmate and I put up Bowie photos on the desktops of all the computers in the lab when we were struggling with a video edit.

I’m also wearing an antique brooch I inherited from my Grammy, and carrying a custom notebook from . Something old, something new, and something ridiculous(ly awesome).
