2025 🤍 | A Year of Faith, Fight & Fruit
2025 wasn’t easy. As we prepared for Q1 of next year, Rey and I recapped the last 13 months and it stretched us in ways we never expected. We said hard goodbyes and walked through doors that didn’t make sense at the time. Rey endured three surgeries, and there were many moments where choosing faith had to be a daily decision. There was a possibility of canceling our symbolic wedding all together and losing thousands on the high risk of starting new businesses. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, (Psalm 34:18) and as we abided in Him and kept him in the center of every decision— He met us in every valley and was extravagant on every mountaintop 🥹
The highlights in those same 13 months, we took engagement photos, eloped, became ministers, married two of our closest friends, opened new businesses and experienced our first six-figure months, built a gym, music room, and ballroom in our home, planned the wedding of our dreams, and bought the car we once only talked about. And still—there were nights we broke down under the weight of responsibility. Doors opened that required obedience, and doors closed we weren’t ready to let go of. Through it all, the Lord remained faithful—leading us forward and holding us close when we grieved what we had to release.
This year truly became our harvest season. We witnessed the fruit of seeds planted years ago—“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest” (Galatians 6:9).
Through pressure we remained rooted in Him, and saw the branches heavy with fruit (John 15:5), kept God at the center of our marriage and our work, and watched lives transformed—including souls saved at our wedding—proving once again that obedience, perseverance, and faith produce more than success, they produce legacy.
