(TRANSPARENCY POST) As a black woman owned company, I have a lot to get off my chest on this fine day D'Evils got busted trying to hold the people of Galveston, Texas down way after slavery had ended. Them thangs done in the dark always come to light, on God.

There was once a point of time in which we stuck together and shopped black for EVERYTHING because we were NOT ALLOWED TO SHOP WITH ANYONE ELSE. WE HAD THE SAME GREEN MONEY AS EVERYONE ELSE. In the world of hair care, there were white owned hair care companies selling dreams to black people. Telling us our natural hair was "undesirable" "ugly" "wooly" and we'd never be accepted unless we use their products!

Through all the trauma, we bought into that idea, doing the craziest things to achieve an "acceptable negro" look! Until the QUEEN of Hair Care Ms Annie Turnbo Malone gave us the option to safely style our hair. With the support of our people, she did soooooo much to give back to the point she died with barely anything to show for herself! That really touches my heart!

Once integration happened and my generation's GRANDPARENTS got a chance to KINDA just be, our people were so eager to spend money where the white folks shopped. The black dollar began to miss our hands and its been gone from our community until our recent mini enlightenment.

MONEY IS POWER HELLLOOOO. We have to get back to those times of shopping within the community (of course with people who provide exceptional service/products) but its beyond that! Zoom out and see the hood that cones from supporting your own. Move off love, not ego, judgement or none of that! Be 5D.

Pure Kalology promises to reach as we climb, helping to preserve the Gulluh Community and educate the babies! We have a vision, we just need your support. Happy Juneteenth!! Remember, dont take the kinks out your head, take em out ya mind 💕💕
