It is important to remember that this World Cup dream became a reality through countless small steps taken over many years, made possible by the dedication and passion of so many people committed to futsal and the women’s game.

Above all, the greatest recognition goes to the stars of the event—the players. With a global platform, they showcased their talent to prove once again that there is nothing quite as thrilling as futsal.

It was an incredible privilege to be involved in this event that made history.

Looking to the future, lots of challenges, obstacles, and disappointments still lie ahead for futsal, but they are part of the process toward becoming a truly mainstream sport worldwide, for both participants and spectators.

Amazing to witness the first ever FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup Draw whilst staging various events to help with the teams' preparations for what will be an amazing celebration of futsal in the Philippines.

Also had the pleasure to organise the FIFA Futsal Development Seminar bringing speakers from around the world. Futsal development faces many obstacles but continues on an upward trajectory & crucial to share experiences, knowledge & inspiration with others facing same challenges.
