Exploiting the search engine
'Exploiting the search engine' will be presented by Dominic Perello. We all use them, but do we use them effectively? They have many options ready and willing to narrow your search results and save you time, but only if you tell them to. This will be an interactive presentation, with questions welcome. The presentation will be with Firefox, but applies to all competitors.
We'll begin with our Q & A session first, as always.
And do join us after the meeting for dinner at our favorite local
Mexican restaurant 'El Azteca' at the corner of Roswell Road and
Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs just north of I-285.
See you there.
Location is our standard meeting location:
North Fulton Service Center

Directions from Al Gruensfelder:
1.-Location Willow Glen Condominiums. Map below, See Entrance
Location marked by the Black Arrow (Cursor). This linked map has the cursor
in the wrong place, so enter at Glen Ridge and look to your immediate left.
The address shown to the Condo Entrance is at 5425 Glen Ridge DR NE.
Sandy Springs GA 30342
There are no gates. There most likely will be a lighted Wreath on the
lighted Willow Glen Sign (Black w/Gold Letters)
2. Directions:
Glenridge Drive NE, dead ends into Roswell Rd. about 1 mile inside
(South) of I-285 (Exit 25).
If driving South on Roswell RD, Glenridge only goes to the LEFT (East) at the top of the large hill. (Traffic Light - Left Turn Arrow), Note:
Left turn lane only hold about 4 vehicles, and don't get over into the center lane until almost to the intersection, as it is blocked, and most people already waiting on Roswell Road won't let you in. After the left turn, then the Condo Entrance will be the Second Right. If driving North on Roswell RD, Glenridge only goes to the Right
(East). Exit via the Right Turn Cut Off at Traffic Light, shortly after Valero Gas Station on the Right. Caution there is a Yield Sign -
Left turning traffic from Roswell Road has right of way.
If coming East on Glenridge, Turn Left after Nursing Home [Belmont Village] which is on the left. If you go to Roswell Road, (oops) find your way back.
3. There is a Refrigerator/Freezer, and Microwave. Not do not use any items that are in the club house refrigerator that you do not bring, as they are for Board Meetings.
4. APPROVED PARKING: The club house will be on the Left AFTER ENTERING THE COMPLEX. There is a cut in the island to the Club House Parking lot, and there is some parking there but not enough. So see the linked site map for the approved parking areas "marked with BLACK LINES". Basically DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET IN FRONT OF CONDOS. PARK ACROSS FROM THEM ALONG THE curb/walls. If you park incorrectly, hopefully I will get a cell phone call before your vehicle is towed. (Not Guaranteed)
5. Early Bid Help is ALLOWED! - I hope to be there by about 5PM. to set up. Party is from 6 Pm to 10 Pm.

North Fulton Service Center
7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA (edit map)
Come to the August program and learn about Windows past and Windows future. Carl Hinton will review the history of Windows. He will then discuss the forthcoming anniversary update to Windows 10. This update became available on August 2. Find out what is in your Windows future.
Carl will also review some peripheral equipment that you may not be using and may not even know about. You can’t be the latest and greatest, operating on the bleeding edge, if you don’t have the toys in your sandbox.
Dominic Perello will offer his insight into portable computing hardware. If you need a computer at different locations and want a full desktop instead of a laptop or tablet, there are options available for not much money.
