In December of 2014 she was personally invited by the ASCAP foundation to perform her self penned single "St.Louis" at the ASCAP Centennial Awards. Caesar performed on the same stage as Stevie Wonder that night, truly a dream come true for her, and proof that hard work does pay off. One of the things that makes Lydia stand out as an independent artist are her songwriting skills. Lydia’s debut album “CAESAR” opened many doors for her, and she penned every song. Both singles "Lottery" and "St.Louis" premiered on BET's 106&park as “New Joints of the day”. She made her live television performance debut on Fox 2 morning show singing “St.Louis”. Two of her album cuts “The most beautiful” and “no regrets” were placed in a Lionsgate film called "I think I hate my ex" directed by Troy Beyer. After the release of her debut Lydia went on to win an ASCAP songwriting award, to be nominated for the Sammy Khan award in 2015, to have her voice featured in Vicks and Reese’s pieces commercials and a host of other career highlights. Lydia also put on her boss hat on by doing a partnership deal with Sony RED and her own company Miss Caesar Music to release a single called “Through It All” in 2015. This song was also featured in the same Lionsgate film that her album cuts were featured in as the highly sought after “closing credits” song. There is no sign of slowing down for Miss Caesar. Currently completing her Sophomore album, she just released her first buzz single called “Walkin’ Away”. Her album will be released through Sauce Records in May 2017.
