I wrote this song to honor a true American hero. Chief Warrant Officer Lori Hill was the first female helicopter pilot to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in combat. She was shot. Her helicopter was hit by an RPG. And she kept flying until every one of her soldiers were safe. Let's share this so maybe she sees it and is reminded that we appreciate her service to our country. And for every girl who's ever been told she can't. 🎖️
