Still riding on the highs from everything from Saturday night! From the people and the energy, to just getting to share a special night and moment with my boy and our friends, to the point when we got told we could go all night when we were both already feeling the urge to play for more than 2 hours! We can’t thank y’all enough for all the great energy, memories, and connections made this past weekend!

I’ll make another post when the video gets uploaded! Looking forward to getting to share even more of sets like this in the future regardless of if it’s b2b or not!

🚫🧢 5/19 - I’ve had a lot of friends asking when I’m playing out again so I’m glad to announce that I’ll be playing, and glad to be back, at No Cap again. It’s been a while since I’ve played out (at least publicly - still staying hella busy playing for the radios I’m affiliated with as well as after parties) since I’ve been laying the foundations for some other things (music, friendships, relationships, etc.). My tastes have been getting a bit more refined since y’all last saw me so look forward to joining me as I explore those sounds with y’all for this No Cap! Speaking of tastes, there might be some sugary surprises in store 👨🏻‍🍳. Link to the tickets will be in my bio!

Just reminiscing on some things and some points in my most recent mix/set. For those that missed it and those that don’t know, I uploaded the set from last Thursday night (for those in the US/Americas) on m my SoundCloud. I always try to upload one set a month, sometimes more, but this last set was a lot of fun and kinda a homage/tribute to a lot of the stuff I grew up on as well as the stuff that I really enjoy and connect with now (and as I get better at riding the pitch faders and mixing non-quantized music, I hope to be able to implement more stuff that can really increase my dynamics as an artist as well as connect with people with because I didn’t just grow up on dance, pop, house, disco, and electronic/electronica music 🤣). This most recent set was a lot of fun, and although it might not be perfect in terms of transistors and whatnot, I keep coming back to it and still can’t believe that it’s actually a mix I did because of how much I enjoy it.

In short, go check out Beats w/ Beignet - EP 13, which is now uploaded on my SoundCloud, and have fun with some classics, as well as some more modern tunes! I had a hell of a lot of fun playing the set, and I’ve had a hell of a lot more fun listening back to it (way too many times than I can recall).
