Taking breaks.
Talking softly.
Changing our approach.
Or deciding that emotional comfort matters more than getting a “perfect” haircut that day.

Because the goal isn’t just getting through the appointment.
The goal is helping your dog learn that grooming doesn’t have to be scary.
And honestly, owners who consistently bring nervous dogs in — even when it’s hard — are doing something really important. Repeated calm experiences help dogs build confidence over time.

Do you love dogs? Do you want to spend your workday on a beautiful 45-acre ranch in Killen? We’re looking for dedicated Dog Care Team Members to join our family!

At DAK’s, we aren't just a kennel—we are an outdoor paradise with swimming pools, obstacle courses, and walking trails. We are looking for people who are truly passionate about making every dog's stay an enriching experience.

💰 Pay: Up to $20/hour (based on experience & work ethic)

📍 Location: 2530 County Road 69, Killen, AL (Near Florence)

What you’ll be doing:
• Supervising playtime and outdoor activities.
• Daily care, feeding, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Administering medications and ensuring the well-being of every guest.
• Bonus: We provide training and certification in Canine First Aid & CPR! 🩺

What we’re looking for:
• A genuine love for animals (prior experience is a plus!).
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
