One of my favorite authentic Pubs of all time! And right there in the heart of my favorite town!!!

Walking into the globe on a dreamy drippy dreary morning and you’re not sure if you’re awake or fast asleep. The last two days were quite enough thank you. These mornings you always fear you will find your coworkers traumatized in the basement, cowering in a corner from the dramatic events of the night before. Surviving on the last few crumbs of the rationed diner burger. Their poor fingers exposed through their tattered wool gloves. The only light is the small fire they’ve built themselves out of the old barstools. As much for protection as for heat. Fearful that any figure in the shadows brings a doom far too great for them to endure.

BUT! You’ve still yet to see that scene! Which means you’re ok. And they’re ok. And the ole miss fans (well behaved as they were. Thank you!) will return to their place of rest to heal up after a rather vicious dawg bite. And the dawg fans will walk with their shoulders back for another week. And the globe will try its best to return to its normal pace over the coming hours until it’s all but a dream again.

And you always ask yourself that one most important question that you’re certain always cuts quickest to the core of the human heart and head…how about those dawgs?

Be patient and kind today or I’ll throw you out the window.
