MABC Pumpkin Patch

It’s been a wonderful, yet very full day at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. For the second week in the small group Bible study I lead there were tears, followed by, “that was just what I needed to hear this week.” Then in worship we wrapped up a 16-month series on Old Testament stories and had someone join the church. After worship folks departed for the front lawn and were joined by volunteers from local High Schools to unload the 2nd pumpkin truck. Lots more orange was added to the MABC Pumpkin Patch. Then at 4pm we celebrated the life of the amazing Norris Mullis. What a life he lived, filled with vibrant stories he was more than happy to share (accompanied by his joyous laugh), and words of wisdom and encouragement he freely offered. He will be missed, but his incredible family will carry on the legacy he and Tommie have left.

Today was amazing at Milledge Avenue! Thanks to Stan Mitchell for preaching in our worship service and to Stan and Renee Dubose for being on our panel for the afternoon conversation about living a Radically Inclusive lifestyle!
