We are looking for volunteer "sidekicks" for Superheroes Camp 2026! Superheroes Camp is a free day camp experience for children who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence. Alongside normal summer day camp experiences these Superheroes will also go through different activities that help them learn about healthy relationship dynamics, communication, conflict resolution, and healing. Sidekicks will assist with basic tasks throughout the day and have a rewarding experience themselves helping our Superheroes unlock their powers! When you're replacing mattresses and other items around the shelter, sometimes the Associate Director's office turns into an extra storage room for a bit! We're proud of how willing all of our staff are to be flexible and adaptable to any situation that arises!
