At Takes The Cake, I believe that cake design is an art and should reflect the attention, detail and creativity that fine art and design exhibits. I pay great attention to detail from making sure I use the freshest ingredients when baking, to making sure every detail of the decorations on your cake is perfect for you. I take great pride in making sure it tastes as good as it looks.
I want to thank all of my customers/friends for 13 wonderful years of business. I appreciate all of the support I have had through my cake journey. After the passing of my Dad I decided to give up cakes and retire. I have spent lots of time with my family and it has been wonderful. I might come back one day but for now I am going to embrace my family. Please know that for every person I got the opportunity to make a cake for, I appreciate you and the opportunity that you gave me. I am so thankful! But, for now I’m hanging up my apron and I’m going to just enjoy life. Thank you all for the best 13 years of a wonderful cake life. From this point forward I will not be taking any cake orders. Thank you all so much!

I will have 2 red velvet cakes with cream cheese icing and 2 carrot cakes with cream cheese icing ready for pick up on November 22, just in time for Thanksgiving! The cost is $60. I will be meeting at 2:00 at the Wendy’s in Athens on the 22nd. If this time doesn’t work for you just message me. Comment your email and flavor to claim your cake.
