Please do not put sharps or medical waste in the mixed recycling. It can be very dangerous!

Sharps should be placed in a hard, rigid plastic container, such as a liquid laundry soap container. Duct tape shut, and write sharps on the container, then dispose of it in the regular trash. Other medical waste should be thrown away or if it's reusable, please contact Rural Action's Zero Waste team!
