We’re proud to share that Athens Sunrise Rotary donated $3,000 to the Athens Child Advocacy Center at the Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program to support children and families in our community 💛
Funds raised through our Winter Wonderland NYE event — along with a generous contribution from the Marietta Noon Club— will help provide transportation assistance, food gift cards, toys, and day-to-day operational support for families receiving services.
This donation builds on our April 2025 toy and supply drive and our continued commitment to organizations doing critical work right here in Athens County.
We're grateful to partner with incredible advocates making a difference every day.
Supporting local children’s causes is woven into the fabric of Athens Sunrise Rotary. Tonight’s Drafts for a Difference supported the New-to-You Thrift Shoppe, a non-profit store operated by the Athens County Foster Parent Association. The revenue from the retail store supports local foster children.

• 📸 Strike a Pose: Capture your favorite memories at our fun-filled Photo Booth complete with all the props, brought to you by e-Merge Real Estate Athens!
• 🎁 Silent Auction: Bid on amazing items and experiences in our spectacular silent auction.
• 🍾 Midnight Toast: Raise a glass with a complimentary champagne toast as the clock strikes midnight!
• 🍽️ Included: Delicious appetizers throughout the evening and a cash bar for all your beverage needs.

A portion of all proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Athens Children’s Advocacy Center, helping them provide essential services for children and teens who have experienced abuse or trauma in our community. Party with a purpose!
