This summer I had the pleasure of teaching Drawing and Painting at Blue Lake Fine Art Camp! I worked with the coolest people, made a Georgia O-Keefe inspired backdrop with for the Faculty Cabaret, and taught the students botanical illustration. :)

One year of marrying art and science in the Master of Science in Environmental Studies at OU! A month ago my exhibition of native plants of the Athens Hocking watershed opened, two weeks ago I finished collecting 300 soil samples, last week I defended my practicum proposal with True Pigments and passed, and this week I'm grinding soil samples and building a plant surveying tool. Soon, I'll be able to quantify how much contamination of iron and cadmium has made its way into the soil from acid mine drainage at Truetown.

I wish I could share more of my work here, but I want to protect my art from and artificial intelligence.
