This 11-year old, registered chestnut mare is still up for finding her next partner. 👀

Due to a lack of time for consistent riding with her current owner, she is ready to hit the trails and finish off your summer the right way!

🎉With 50 days in our program, Duckie has consistently progressed and has had no cold back issues. We recommend that she be ridden consistently or is with a confident rider.
(Disclaimer - her history with bucking has always been after a long pasture break and within the first 5 minutes of getting back on. When she knows her job, she hasn’t had any issue)

Duckie had a sad, past history with a poor fitting saddle so saddle fit is important to make her a happy gal!

11-year-old, 14.3 and 1,100lbs registered chestnut Quarter Horse mare up for consideration.

She is a solid trail horse. Would make a solid ranch horse with opportunity in roping or cow events (she has already done light breakaway roping with a previous owner).

Disposition & Care:
o Stands quietly for the farrier
o Currently in front shoes and barefoot on the rear
o Sweet temperament yet hardworking mentality when she is given a job
o Easy keeper
o Great stall manners (clean and tidy)
o Well-mannered for turnout. Not marish with other horses
o Loads and trailers calmly

Training/History:
o Currently, 40 days into our program getting a restart and will continue in the program until she finds her new person
o Went through restart due to a cold back issue, likely from an ill-fitting saddle. She’s made steady progress and has been solid and comfortable for the past 40 days. A thorough veterinary check has been completed to confirm her soundness and overall health. Vet and farrier references available upon request.
To ensure her continued comfort and success, we highly recommend having a professional saddle fitter evaluate and fit your saddle upon purchase.
