The Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) is the governing body for student issues within the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia.

The GVMA and SAVMA have teamed up to offer a Career Fair for students. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov 12th, 10am-3pm at the Veterinary Educational Center (VEC) on the VTH Campus. There will be numerous practices for students to engage with at this event, and every time you visit a booth for a practice, you will receive a ticket that you can enter into a raffle. Items you could win in the raffle include Fig Scrubs, Hoka Shoes, and Stethoscopes. All students that register to attend will also receive a ticket for a free meal from a meal truck at the Career Fair. You can register for the Career Fair using this link:
