Christ Community Athens

At Christ Community, our groups are a great place to build relational connection, but they're also our primary vehicle for pursuing our vision and mission.

Every 6 weeks community groups engage in some sort of outreach together. This month the "West Group" served the Athens Area Homeless Shelter.

While we work for restoration, we learn from those we serve, that all of Athens might flourish!

For the past several weeks we have had a special focus on prayer, gathering together each week, asking God to cause a spiritual and full flourishing all over Athens!

Trust in the good news of Jesus results in prayer. The one who loves enough to give himself for his people promises to hear and respond to their prayers, as well.

We need God to do the work in us and through us, as we faithfully work for the good of our community.

Whether you come to a meeting or not, whether you are part of our church or not, would you join us in prayer that the Lord would work in this powerful way among us here? May his kingdom come!
