Hello friends! We want to reach out during these trying times to start a conversation and hope you will join in here. (Please comment away here...we want ALL THE FEEDBACK! Then share to ANYONE in central NH and beyond!)

Despite current restrictions, we are still plunging ahead with the Local Goods Guide, to bring this local resource to you in the spring. We understand there are some challenges in this, from ad sales (to support the Guide) to production to distribution. We are feeling the hesitance for businesses to invest even a small amount into an ad at this time and we get it.

BUT, doesn't this give us all a minute to pause and think for a minute? When times are tough and we have limited means, isn't it important to consider where EVERY DOLLAR is spent? (Not just as an advertiser, but as a consumer.) Where you place your money literally casts a VOTE for the kind of world we want to live in. (Think about that, the next time you drive through McDonald's vs. getting take-out from the ma and pa restaurant up the street who is working so hard to stay open during these times, or you shop on Amazon instead of buying local product.)

Think about loyalty. Think about strengthening our wonderful community so we can be better TOGETHER. And at the heart of it is our FOOD and FARMERS, which is why this Guide was started in the first place, 14 years ago at D Acres of New Hampshire Organic Farm & Educational Homestead. It all translates to security.

We're going to have to get back to basics on a lot as a community, but wouldn't it be better to work together and make sure you are casting the right vote?
