Edsel Engineering is looking for a part time Civil Engineer to join our team!

Company Description
Edsel Engineering is a small civil engineering firm based near Asheville, North Carolina.

Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing roads, water, sewer, grading, stormwater and developing plans in AutoCAD Civil3D.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent mathematical abilities and familiarity with CAD software
Proficient in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and Excel
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in project management, construction administration, and inspection is a plus
Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience. This is a part time, contract employee position.
