Hi everyone I worked last night heard some very sad tales of bad manners to say the least. We were very fortunate to have just our normal people enjoying life to much with out any incidents(I am knocking on wood) But remember a please and thank you go a long way.

Hope you all are having a good start to 2021!

Just a reminder about the upcoming snow event in WNC and your automatic pool cover. Having a snow load of even 1-2 inches on the cover could cause it to sag and possibly damage the cover system (tarp and/or mechanics). The simplest option is to open the cover completely and let the snow go into the pool water. At this time of year, post-leaf drop, it will be fine for the melted snow to just add to the pool's volume.

The next option is to turn your pool heater on and let the warmed pool water melt the snow load on top of the cover. Then the cover pump should be able to remove the water as it melts. This option works unless the cover pump and/or hose freeze if it's cold enough, or stop working for some reason. Obviously this option burns gas too, so be cognizant of that.

Bottomline is make sure the snow load doesn't damage the cover by taking a few precautionary steps.

If you need anything during this time, don't hesitate to contact us. Thank you!
