“Music is so important to me. Being an artist from Virginia, we have to face the “crab in a barrel” mentality, so for you to do anything out of here, you have to outshine everybody else. What I am doing now, it basically shows people what I’m capable of straight from the start, giving people different flavors of music and showing how versatile I am while also leaving enough room to outshine myself with future work. I feel like this is what I have to do to get accepted into the game. Show people what I’m about, and this project is just the tip of the iceberg.”
