Action Dance Express

Action Dance Express opened in 1972 under the direction of Eileen Figliolino. She opened the doors to her home as she started this studio in her basement. In 1975 she found a permanent home for the studio at the grange building located on the corner of 72nd and Simms in Arvada, CO. With many successful years under her belt, Eileen shared the direction of the studio with Lisa Geist-Kelly in 2000. Lisa was one of Miss Eileen's first students and her mother Dee was the secretary for the studio through the years. Dee was not just a secretary. She was the go-to girl and without her, the studio may not have run so smoothly. In 2009, Action Dance Express closed it's doors- but never lost the memories! Eileen is an inspiration to all her students and though she is not the owner/director of Action Dance Express, you can find her at the grange on Tues nights teaching tap!! If you were a student, parent of a student, friend of a student or just interested in the history of Action Dance Express, please become a fan!
