Windows 10 is now automatically downloaded to all Windows 7 and 8.1 machines as a “recommended update” with the Windows Update tool—whether you want it or not.

Saw a client today that upgraded two of their PCs to Win10 on their own as I was there for another issue. They had no issues with the install but a notice popped up in their Quickbooks 2014 that it was not compatible with Win10. So they had working machines to start with then upgrade to free Win10 but now have to pay $400 for new version of Quickbooks. It is hard to say what will work and not work after an upgrade to Win10 something to keep in mind before you click 'Install'.
