Today, Friday, January 30th, our offices will be closed in solidarity with Minnesota and the national shutdown.

Incredibly honored to be selected by the Denver Bar Association for the Volunteer Lawyer of the Year award, based on my work assisting clients who otherwise could not afford estate planning and estate administration services.

I just sat down with a couple who are parents to a young child and they asked how to plan for the event that an emergency happens and they can no longer care for their own child. Who will then serve as parent(s) to the child?

This should be addressed in any estate plan in which minor children are involved. It is hard to see when parents do not know this and leave such an important decision up to the courts.
