As many of you know 2025 was an interesting & different year for Southern Tradition. We were without our beloved lead singer, Terry Reynolds, due to illness. Mid year were were able to bring in an old friend as a temporary fill-in lead singer. We are very thankful for Greg Eaker for his dedication and stepping into the role to quickly learn parts & arrangements until such a time as Terry could possibly re-join us. However, it's with sadness that we have to announce that health complications will prevent Terry's return. We are very appreciative for the love and friendship of Terry and his wife Robin and will always consider them close friends and a part of the Southern Tradition Family. We ask that you all continue to pray for Terry for God's healing touch.

As 2026 unfolds, Greg Eaker will continue on with Southern Tradition as our Lead singer. We look forward to the doors that God will open for us and to his blessings in the New Year on the Ministry of Southern Tradition.

Greg Eaker resides in Moscow Mills Missouri and works as a Mobile Solutions Engineer for a Technology Solutions company. A lifelong Christian, his love of Gospel Quartet Music began at a very early age where he grew up as a PK and seeing his father also involved with local singing groups in and around the St. Louis Area. Greg has extensive musical experience singing in Church and with various organized gospel groups, The Voice of One, St. Louis Promise Keepers, & Crossover.

Greg has been married for 49 years to his wife Sheila and they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. The Eaker’s are members of Cross Haven Church in O’Fallon Missouri. When not working or singing, Greg enjoys Photography, Videography, Skiing, & riding his motorcycle.

Southern Tradition is an established, part time, traditional southern gospel male quartet based in the Arnold Mo area, and we are seeking a temporary / permanent lead singer to step in due to an illness of one of our members. This is a lead singer position, but you MUST have the ability to hear and sing the tenor, lead, & baritone parts. We have concerts booked, so we will need to work hard to be ready. We are only part time, and we do not sing that often but living within a commutable distance to Arnold is necessary for practices and concerts. MUST be a committed born-again Christian with regular church attendance. Previous quartet experience is preferred along with maturity and dedication.
