We had so much fun last night at First Thursday in downtown Arlington. Drumming, dancing, art, music, community, culture, awareness….It filled my cup!

I made this collage yesterday at Art Club. Art Club is a really fun and extremely generous monthly community art night hosted by of in Fort Worth.
It was a night of creativity, good energy and some much needed like-minded conversations.

I make art almost every day. Usually it’s collage because that’s what calls to me the most. For me, collage is about taking collected moments, emotions, and experiences and piecing them together to create something revealing and thought provoking. I feel like it’s an extremely powerful tool for self-discovery and self-acceptance.
