In a recent massive breach, AT&T lost the call and text records of 110M customers, nearly all of them. Communication records can be used to infer who you’ve called or texted and from where, allowing hackers to create a detailed map of all your closest relationships. This latest breach is only the one in the many that have affected, and unfortunately, will continue to affect major telco companies in the future.
