This triple header honoring our soldiers was a blast.
We started this weekend at Deming Speedway with a bad qualifying going to a bad heat race. we started 1st in the B-main and held it to start 15th in the A-main.
We found a good line but was just held back from everybody else in front. we finished in 11th.
That night we made the long haul to Sunset Speedway and had an absolute thriller
we started Saturday going 3-2 in my heat setting me up 2nd in the dash and 3rd in the A-main. I won the dash and it gave me a huge confidence boost going into the Pre-Lim A-main. I got into second and had about a straightaway to catch up to the leader and immediately started chewing away at his lead. right when I was behind him the car broke on him and gave me the lead. After that i pulled away from the rest of the group getting the win.
The second and final night at Sunset Speedway was another thriller. I went 2-1 in my heat putting me 1st in the Main and 3rd in the dash. I had a fun battle in the dash before getting away with the win. The Main was an even better one as we went green to checkered and I won it from the start of the race. this weekend... wait I'm missing something
I ran Open as a restricted car. I went 5-3 in it and had okay speed to keep up with the top 2. I have to thank P&M Machine for the amazing motor.
