Challege

We all know that is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health.
Today we challenge you to take an evening walk for 10 mins, let's start slow, right?

To participate-
1. Motivate yourself to take a break and go for an evening walk in your vicinity. Don’t forget to mask up! 😷
2. Upload a picture on your story with the hashtag and tag .
3. We would love to feature you in our campaign!

To make walking a pleasurable form of physical activity, here are some tips-

1. Varying where you walk (we want to see the world from your eyes, please share some evening sunset pictures) 🌇
2. Walking the dog (All the dog lovers, we would love to see your pictures) 🐶
3. Walking with friends/family (Isn’t it cool to hang out with friends, don’t forget to tag us in your group photos) 👭👬
4. Joining a walking club (you can be the one to start it)

| Shaista is a leading Muslim women’s rights activist in Britain and Chair of Muslim Women’s Network UK, which works to improve social justice and equality for Muslim women and girls.

She is and has been a member of various international, national, and regional boards and steering groups and is currently a member of the Children’s Commissioner National Inquiry Panel investigation of child sexual abuse in the family environment. She has conducted research and authored reports, including Unheard Voices: Sexual Exploitation of Asian Girls and Young Women (2013). She was awarded the MBE in 2008 and OBE in 2016.

“My definition of success was completely redefined when I began my first year of graduation.

I've had a strong academic background since I was a child. My mother is a Mathematics teacher and my father is system manager at Aligarh Muslim University. Initially, I was inclined to give NEET. I became very ill one month before my second attempt and was unable to score well enough to gain admission to a medical school. My idea of success was defined by society. I was distraught at this failure. I took Biochemistry as my major during my under-graduation. My first year of graduation was spent just trying to find purpose and passion but I lacked focus. I couldn't find my way forward because it wasn't what I wanted to do.....”
